Drayton Valley Minor Baseball offers baseball programs for most ages and skill levels. Baseball is a great way to become a better athlete. Many pros including Wayne Gretzky played baseball and other sports when they were young. According to Gretzky:
“It helped my hockey career so much,” he said of baseball. “The thinking and hand-eye coordination you need in baseball only helped and enhanced my hockey career.”
It includes rural communities such as Sylvan Lake, Lacombe, Rocky Mountain House, Rimbey etc. Teams are scheduled to play home and away games two times per week, with no weekend commitments.

Provincial 'AA' baseball is a competitive developmental league for players/teams for 11U, 13U, 15U, and 18U age groups. The league is Alberta wide and teams compete in Provincial Finals at seasons end.
AA Baseball takes a higher level of commitment and requires athletes to practice two times per week, and play up to three games on weekends. Contact repdirector@dvbaseball.net for more information.
Baseball Alberta provides age criteria for each age group and more information can be found on their website. Players may move up to older age groups with the permission of the Drayton Valley Baseball.
